Figures and portraits have always been some of my favorite subject matter to draw.
Gesture/Anatomical Studies
I like figure drawing so much, that I decided to be a life model for a university figure drawing course, to help other artists learn human anatomy in the most natural and real way that they can.
I hold poses anywhere from 1 - 45 min. I have gotten good at being able to resist any pain or numbness that results from holding challenging positions for long lengths of time. I have also learned to be quick on my feet with changing poses frequently for quick gesture drawings.
